Contribuiți la feedbackIt was last minute and they had 1 table left. And it was all amazing. Love that it's a BYOB. We've done fried chicken dinners here before but we're super excited to have regular menu food. Did not disappoint.
When you think of post covid dining there are certain boxes you want to check and Turtle-Wolf checks them all. The atmosphere is perfect for date nights or a hang out with friends, dimly lite but not to dim, music hangs in the air but never loud enough to stop conversation. The food is so amazing, you should get a decent spread so you can try as much as possible and share among your party. The flavor profiles of each dish is clearly and carfully planned out, this was easily the best food I've had in a long time.
Knowing we had two small kids, they had dino toys and coloring crayons ready at the table. Kids were estatic. We have never experienced such hospitality at a restaurant (having dined all over in philly and NYC etc). The food was excellent, highlights were the agnolotti, burrata, and brick chicken. Kids also loved the food from the regular menu. Really a world class American restaurant experience worthy of a James Beard award. Excited to come back. Thank you to the staff!!
Fantastic date night! Atmosphere is great The floor is a tad loud, but the layout allows each party to hear one another. The walls are adorned with interesting art that all ties together, even though each piece is unique. Staff is great All cool, but genuinely nice. Our server was knowledgable and very in tune with our needs. His recommendations were spot on. Food is Incredible We had 2 Apps, the Burrata and Beef Tartare. Both were exquisite. The brussels under the burrata had the perfect glaze. We had the Brick chicken and seared Pork Chop for entrees. They were both outstanding. Although the pork was ever so slightly over done, the seared glaze and flavor that seemed to go on for days made up for it. For dessert we shared the maple creme with sea salt... We tend to avoid the super sweet, but asked our server to choose dessert, as the entire menu looked great. The salt crystals are a perfect touch to compliment the sweetness. We give this place a 9.5 out of 10. Only cons Finding the place we drove right past it. This is remedied by return visits. The slight overcook on the chop (I like things on the rarer side) and the price. Everything else was reasonably priced, but we paid $55 for the chop. Not exhorbitant, but seemingly a bit more pricey than the rest. This place is one of the best restaurants my wife and I have been to in NJ. Awesome job.
We picked up the roasted chicken dinner for two and it was delicious. Very easy ordering and curbside pick up and it allowed us to have a fine dining experience at home with our toddler
