Munch Box - MONTAUK

Amazing fast food. I had the flounder on a bungalow and the popcorn shrimp for lunch. Absolutely amazing. The flounder on a bungalow is so simple, but delicious. It is just a bungalow with flounder and tartar sauce, but the flounder is freshly fried and has a great crab and taste. The popcorn shrimp is great to share with the rest of the group or you could keep it for yourself: the shrimps are small and have a great taste. The breaking ont he shrimps not about power the taste which in my opinion is for a big popcorn shrimp recipe.

I went by with my daughter and her boyfriend on a Saturday night and we all agreed that a few fries would be nice. I ordered two orders and had only $10. It came out a little more and the young girl who worked there told me not to worry, and she went into her drinking glass to make the rest. I was really moved by this gesture and in a city where people have to do as much as possible during the high season, every little piece counts. I went back after I was able to get cash and tell her how remarkable I was. What a nice young lady. I wish there were more people like them in this world.

It is the best place in Montauk to have her fried chicken.
