Hooked - MONTAUK

Good portions of really great customer service at the counter, but the food itself was literally only average. We expected we were blown away based on other reviews, but expectations felt short. Overall, I suggest you try it, each menu item is obviously different (we had only the shrimp boat that comes with frits). There were many seats (exterior area only), they were pet friendly since you? re sit out (and did I mention that the counter staff was fantastic worth knowing? Yes, they were.

I had no lobster role in five years, so I had high expectations when I saw the shield outside. I took my time to read other reviews on Hooked and other nearby restaurants, and decided this was the best option. I'm standing there, but I'll say I was better. The ambience inside was beautiful and at first I thought the price was fair for a lobster roll $32. However, I expected more and was somewhat underwhelmed. I think the lobster-sickness ratio was on the money, but something about the hot dog **** threw me. For the population and the price, I would expect something nicer. It simply increases the whole experience.

The best lobster ever. Also Arugula beet salad and fried Calamari were great.

Hooked?s Hummer roll is filled with lobster, has minimal Mayo, and is simply delicious. Definitely my favorite lobster roll in the Montauk area. Great fast occasional connection with efficient service and many outdoor seating. You also have a variety of alcoholic drinks available to enjoy with your food. I look forward to tasting more menus during my next visit.

Me and my girlfriend stopped by from our stay in the Hamptons and it was one of the greatest decisions we've ever made. Prices are fair and the food is spectacular! The food is definitely worth trying and totally worth it, would definitely come back in the future!
