Montauk Circle

The service was friendly, but the food was extremely overpriced and disappointing. My friend ordered the fish and chips, and she ended up with severe food poisoning while traveling back to the city. To make matters worse, her cocktail was also lacking. I tried the Asian chicken wings, and they were simply unappetizing—too much sauce, greasy chicken, and an unappealing slimy texture on the inside. I could only manage one bite before I felt repulsed. Additionally, my husband explicitly requested that there be no cilantro on the wings, but there it was in my first bite—an overwhelming mouthful of cilantro that I should have checked for instead of assuming it was another herb. I almost felt sick from that experience, as I cannot tolerate the taste of cilantro at all. We genuinely wished we could have gotten a refund for our meals. The only redeeming quality was the Margarita, which was enjoyable.

My husband and I spent the weekend in Montauk on September 24th and noticed an ad for Montauk Circle in the local newspaper, so we decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did! There was a fantastic four-piece band called Bingo Bango playing outside, and they were excellent. The restaurant itself is very clean, has a pleasant ambiance, and serves delicious burgers. I want to give a special mention to Kiernan, the bartender. He is one of the best bartenders I have ever encountered—top-notch and incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend stopping by for a few drinks, and if you're hungry, the dinner is great too.

This is a fantastic place for a quick meal and a drink. We tried the lobster roll along with another dish, and both were excellent. It's primarily a bar, so don't anticipate fine dining, but it's definitely worth a visit. It tends to get busy in the evenings, so it's a good idea to plan ahead.

A true hidden gem! I highly recommend including this restaurant in your Montauk experience. The atmosphere is just right, and the staff is attentive and friendly. I absolutely loved the food. The salad I had featured watermelon, feta, hearts of palm, and gazpacho, topped with shaved coconut – it was incredibly delicious. We’ll definitely be returning!

I spent $36 on a salad, and that's no exaggeration. I ordered it to go, and it didn't even fill the takeout container. The prices are outrageous, and the food is nothing remarkable.
