Mr. Tokyo Japanese - Monroe

All of my sushi had a vague smoked spam taste which was super off-putting, especially since nothing I ordered had spam. The chicken katsu was bone dry but the sauce that came with it was good. The clear soup would have been good except they put wonton strips in it at the restaurant so once I got it back to eat they were soggy and texturally displeasing. The seaweed salad was the only thing that was really tasty. It had a lovely light sesame sauce and was bright and delicious.I would probably give it another try but order different things.

Good place to get to sushi! Lunch options are more limited than dinner menu.

Food wasn’t that good, took forever to get food. I had accidentally left my customer receipt and they had wrote their own tip on my receipt. NEVER going here again ?? I have a better all you can eat sushi place that has such better sushi, they don’t charge you for leftovers, and it’s cheaper!

Black Pepper Tuna Roll is my absolute favorite! Food is always great and you'll spend less overall time there compared to the Matthew's or Pineville locations.

It was ok The biggest issue was that the beef in our dishes was chewy. Service was attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. It 's on my list of been there, done that restaurants...
