This was one of my favorite stops in the region. Not only for authentic food and drinks but also because of the farm animals you can explore there, like donkeys, pigs and many more.
When you travel with kids, you're always looking for little breaks to keep kids entertained. While we always want to stop in places like wineries, we have to find a way to keep the kids entertained, too. This place worked well... donkeys, goats, pigs... you can get up close and personal with the animals and then parents can enjoy some local meats, cheeses and wines, all while up in the mountain. You can take the second lift up and walk down or, do as we did, take the gondola up and then take a 10 minute hike up to the farm.
