Village Inn - Moline

It took over 35min to get our breakfast and 10min to get a chocolate milk refill for our son. We were told it was due to take out orders that came in seconds before our order was put in. I understand take out orders need to be taken care of but in house should have some priority. After receiving our food 90% of our order was cold but felt there was zero chance sending it back because who knows how long it would have been to have them remake it. We were offered free pie but turned it down as it would just sit at home until someone throws it away.

Good food. Awful coffee, yet it keeps earning local awards for it's coffee. My taste buds must be bad. Mine, and everyone I know.

Had a horrible experience, do not go there if you are any sort of minority. If you do, expect Racism from the staff. Horrible waiter, would not wait till we were done eating before he tried to kick us out. They made us pay before all of our food was brought to us. No one else in the restaurant was forced to do the same. Absolute never coming again.

The food is usually cooked well with low additional salt. Occasionally overcooked hash browns and eggs will be served. The service is usually decent, although there have been a number of times I left without getting a much needed drink refill. The walls and window coverings are not clean, with visible food splatter and crud. I just can't understand why, for the prices they change, they cannot clean the dining area.
