Great pub and atmosphere just what you want and expect in a country pub. Paul is super friendly and helpful. Myself and my partner love to drop in for 1 or2 while we are here in moate

I dropped my hubby in to have a pint after a football match, I just had a quick water, and I was chatting a few I knew there. The atmosphere was buzzing even after losing the match . Otherwise, the pub was full and and the barmaid was brilliant. Boy, could she handle a crowd. No one was wanting for a drink. The prioritor was walking around chatting with everyone and picking up glasses . It's a fabulous pub, old style but upto date service. Try it for yourself, you'll definitely leave with a pleasant experience and a welcome back again when you're passing through the town again. Well done to the owner, he employes a great team and gives the locals young people great employment. well done to the barmaid, a good boss makes for a happy employment, and employee.

Such a lovely traditional bar , with an excellent service from Paul behind the bar , he even went to the shop to get us some chocolate , we had w lovely stop here on our greenway walk today .
