Fionn MacCool's Irish Pub - Mississauga

Went with another couple and we all agreed the food was not good. My wife had the fish & chips and had stomach issues in the middle of the night. I had the Tandoori sandwich, which didn't have much flavour (would be good to serve in a hospital maybe but not at a restaurant). My buddy had a burger and said he didn' t like it, and it was pinkish. He should have returned it but didn't. The steak sandwich was tough, and yes the french fries were frozen fries! Come on, who does that! We aren't picky people but the food was just not good; edible but not worth it! The beer was cold, and an excellent band started playing at 9:30pm, so my recommendation is this is a good place to go after dinner, to hear a live band and have a beer with friends.

Steak and Fries All three of us ordered the same thing. Steak (8oz) & Fries. Nice size steak, but neither of my friends could cut it with steak knives. Asked beforehand - are your fries made from frozen? No .... well yes they were! Mushy and not hot. At least 10 oz of steak came home for the pets. Easier to slice when frozen. They are happy. Brownie and ice cream OK, except ice cream was melted. Good service, but stick with traditional Irish Fare.

The beer is good, but honestly, the bartender sarah was kind of weird. I just wanted to make unforged talks with her and she was very strange. it's a nice place where I'd come back, but to be honest after I'm with her, I'm not sure if I'd go back. seemed very unpleasant and did not know how to talk to customers like a typical barkeeper.

It is our family tradition to celebrate family events in a good restaurant and so we sat after 2 years in a restaurant as a family with dinner. we had expected it to be very crowded. but, fortunately, it wasn't. most workers wore masks so that it was soothing. the experience of years we remembered had not changed very much. the ambiente was good, service great and the drinks n eat well. if something was diagrammatic, it was the size of the parts. they seemed much smaller than before. Maybe, having been closed for 2 years, must have priority money. but the food was delicious, the drinks good and service without mistake. overall the experience was still positiw. So a revisit will be on the cards.

Anlass: first communion thanks for having received our family for dinner. we were very satisfied with the service and eating. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. we would recommend coming back here.
