We walked in at around ten to five and the place was understandably busy, dinner time on a summer weekend. However, even with patience, the service was inexcusable. We came in and the staff was seemingly intentionally ignoring us. The four of us tried to flag someone down to ask where to sit, but nobody so much as looked our way. So we sat down at an available table. Nobody brought a menu, nobody even asked us to wait a second since they were busy. Everyone avoided eye contact and rushed past. After a good fifteen minutes of this, we called it and left. Probably won't be going back.
Adam keeps it going great and a great place to go eat and take your kids great memories
We stopped here for lunch after learning about it at the National Studebaker Museum. They clearly have maintained an authentic’50s vibe. The grilled chicken sandwich and burger were excellent—nothing fancy, but tasty and well prepared. The fries were good, too. The place could use a sprucing up and several of the car hop stands were out of order. However, this really captures an era when the Lincoln Highway was THE way to travel east-west in the northern US.
Ice cream was great, and the atmosphere was very cool, classic cars and photos, great experience
Just one more jewel in the crown of midwest summers!
