O Encruzilhada - Mira

Mira is a coastal town known for its beaches, forest, agriculture and tourism. Going down from Porto to the District of Coimbra, we stoped or lunch at the Restaurante Encruzilhada located at Cabeço de Mira. We were welcomed by the owner, Licinio and his attentive...staff. We choose from the tasting menu, Pernil (slender part part of the sucking-pig's leg) and Chanfana, a typical Portuguese dish (Stewd kid). We also choose the Vinho da Casa (Red Wine of the region) which it was excellent. The food was plentiful and very tasty. We will be back again and again.
