The Outsider - Milwaukee

The Outsider bar is a beautiful rooftop bar in the brand new Kimpton Journeyman hotel. We visited during Summerfest weekend so it was very busy. There are two bars, one indoors and one outdoors. There are lots of seating areas and the cool thing about sitting outside is there are fire pits. There are lots of entrances so you don't feel bottlenecked except for the elevator lobby. I was especially impressed with the bartenders because they were very busy but they were on topof their orders. Beautiful hotel, very fun rooftop bar. Sorry I didn't take a picture of the bars, It was my birthday and I was a lot of drinks in LOL

Great atmosphere, many seating and the view are beautiful from the roof. Even during the service was very busy.

Great ambience the best roof bar in the city. The drinks are a little pricy, but so good. You also have a wide selection of other spirits have some very talented bartenders.

I always love to come to The Outsider for a night drinks! This bar is located in the 9th. Stock of the Kimpton and it is nice, no matter what season (in summer they have everything open, in winter, you can still feel like you are outside, but everything is closed and cozy). Two things to consider: This is definitely a fancier place, so expect to pay the price for it. For example, we ordered three drinks (a mocktail, a wine and a cocktail) and the bill of $40. I don't pay this because I don't come here often and it's an experience, but just a little to consider when you budget. Two, you can't eat outside. This makes it difficult if you went to eat somewhere in the third station and want to bring your left home, but first stop at this bar. I'm not sure if the host would keep them for you if you asked (she didn't offer), but just another thing to keep an eye on before you go!

Great atmosphere for cozy couples or small groups. Amazing views of the city in the north and west of the closed heated terrace. Large beverage selection and small plates are exotic, but trusted enough to satisfy desire. Pricey, but not from the line with the location.
