Brunch - Milwaukee

This is a fantastic little spot downtown! I walked about half a mile from my hotel to get there, which was great. I was the only diner at 8:00 AM on a Thursday, and my waitress, Taylor, was incredibly attentive and wonderful. The coffee was excellent, and I’m quite picky about my coffee! I was a bit concerned that the food might be overly sweet and that they might prioritize creativity over quality—places that offer things like Lucky Charms pancakes can make me wary. However, I honestly loved what I ordered. I had the fried green tomatoes Benedict with a lemon berry pancake on the side. The Benedict was delicious, though not the best I've ever had; the eggs were poached perfectly, and the flavors blended well together. But that pancake—oh wow. It came with fresh blueberries and a berry-infused mascarpone on top, along with a lemon drizzle. It was absolutely fantastic—no syrup needed! I would definitely return the next time I’m in Milwaukee!

They also serve their own unique brand of coffee, which was incredibly strong but full of flavor. I noticed they had some intriguing alcoholic coffee drinks that I really wanted to try, but with a full day ahead of me, I passed this time. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area. The restaurant itself had a charming atmosphere with a bright color scheme of blue and yellow that created a cheerful vibe, and my server was just as cheerful. My favorite detail was the collection of cute clocks above the bar, which I really wish I had taken a picture of. Overall, it was a delightful experience!

I had the Harvest Hash with two eggs, and I thought it was fantastic, so I'm giving it a full 5 stars. I do want to mention that we had a large group, and our original reservation got lost somehow. Luckily, our organizer went to the restaurant in the morning and managed to get everything sorted out; otherwise, we would have been in a tough spot. I recommend double-checking your reservation before heading to the restaurant.

We were in search of a breakfast spot near our hotel and came across this charming place with excellent reviews. It certainly lived up to the expectations! The service was fantastic; we were seated quickly at the bar. The drink selection was impressive, and the menu offered a wide variety of choices. We couldn't narrow it down to just one dish, so we decided to split our breakfasts. It's worth noting that they only accept card payments (cashless), which is a great feature, but just be aware of that in advance—it's clearly posted, and the staff informed us as well.

The food was so beautifully presented that it almost felt too good to eat, but it tasted even better than it looked. They might serve the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. I'm absolutely in love with this place!
