Trattoria Gian Marco - Millburn

Great pizza! I'm used to New York City, and this comes pretty close! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is also quite charming.

The food was excellent and incredibly affordable. We spent less than $12 for a delicious pasta dish!

I ordered two slices of pizza, and I have to say it was quite disappointing. While the customer service was good during the ordering process, the pizza itself just didn’t cut it. There was hardly any sauce, and it had no flavor—more like a crispy flatbread than actual pizza. At $7 for two slices, I don’t think I’ll be going back for pizza again. They might have other good dishes, but I'll pass on this one.

Charming, cozy, romantic dining room. Service is always excellent?especially if Larry is serving guests!?but more important, the food is excellent, always fresh and flavorful. Tonight?s bread, served with entres, was a delicious focaccia. Portions aregenerous and prices are low compared to so many other local restaurants that in reality offer so much less. Gian Marco is agreat place to enjoy a private, delicious, cozy meal?with wonderful ambiance, but without a lot of overpriced posturing andpretense.

No matter what I choose from the menu, I am always satisfied. The Caesar salad is fantastic and comes in a generous portion. The chicken Parmesan and chicken Stefania are delicious, and the eggplant rollatini and meatball subs are great as well! If you visit in person, you'll surely appreciate the charming dining room and excellent service!
