Sakura Japanese - Mililani

I've visited this restaurant twice, but this visit was definitely the best. The chef who prepared our food was truly entertaining and interacted with both adults and kids. The entire experience was fantastic, thanks to his showmanship and enthusiasm for putting on a performance for us.

The food was fantastic, and the sushi was gorgeous! Chef Kief was amazing at the hibachi; he put on a fantastic show and made it a lot of fun! Can't wait to come back soon.

A beautiful place to have parties and have first or second appointments. Our waitress was great and very patient. I'll go back and get the boats back.

The reason I rated Sakura only four stars is due to my last visit on Saturday, October 23, 2021, when my friends and I were greeted by a female host who wasn't very friendly. Everyone else on the staff was pleasant, and we still had a great time. I’ve sampled a variety of dishes, including steak, shrimp, scallops, lobster, noodles, fried rice, salad, vegetables, and miso soup—everything was delicious! Don't skip the fried rice; it’s a must-try. The combination plates are also highly recommended. Keep in mind that if you go for lunch and prefer not to sit at the hibachi table, you won’t be able to order the hibachi lunch, which is what the staff informed us, so we chose to sit at the hibachi table again. It's a perfect spot for enjoying a meal with friends or family. My family took me there for my birthday, and we had an amazing time. Our hibachi chef was fantastic—he even played and sang birthday songs, earning a solid five stars! Overall, I believe all the staff, except for the host who seated us, deserve five stars. I highly recommend giving it a try—delicious food and great service await!

This is my absolute favorite hibachi on the island and I've been to a few of them. The service is always great and the food is always good. I'd highly recommend this place if you need some great Japanese hibachi!
