Mitch's Fish Market Sushi - Honolulu

It's pretty pricey for the location.. but the food was good. It's a fair place, nothing to write home about.

Had that whole in the wall feel that turns out to be a diamond in the rough. Best place hands down for the best Sashimi!

This unpretentious little sushi spot near the airport is a true find. Parking is quite limited, with about seven spots available out front and a few more on the street. The restaurant is BYOB, so don’t forget to bring your favorite Japanese lagers! The sushi here is outstanding—some of the best I've had outside of Japan. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the hand rolls are exceptional. If you treat yourself to the fatty tuna, you won’t be disappointed; it’s absolutely amazing. The service is both fast and friendly, and they prepare excellent platters. Takeout orders are simple and convenient, and dining in is a delight as well, thanks to a spacious back room with plenty of seating and a few bar stools. Make sure to check out this hidden gem; it’s definitely worth a visit!

Great tasting fresh fish! Pricing could be a bit cheaper, but the quality is good. They seem to be a wholesaler of fish for the area, when we were leaving we saw a large shipment of fish arrive as well. Got the 10 piece sushi and chirashi, and both were great. Would recommend getting the miso soup with the shrimp head also!
