Stover's Tea Room - Milesburg

Today, while in the Bellefonte area, I had trouble finding a lunch spot before noon. I decided to drive up Route 144 to Milesburg, a place I had never been before. In the town center, I came across Stover's Tea Room, but to my surprise, it was actually a tavern that didn't serve food. They offered bottled and canned beer for on-site consumption and takeout, as well as a selection of liquor for mixed drinks. I had a Lager beer and found the bartender to be friendly. During my visit, a few older gentlemen came in to buy six-packs to go. The tavern had a large U-shaped bar counter, booths near a dart board and pool table, and several mounted television sets. Smoking was allowed, but the smell wasn't overpowering like in some other local establishments. I might visit again at night to experience a different atmosphere; it seems like a more laid-back option in the Bellefonte Milesburg area that isn't a run-down dive bar.

The restaurant offers bottled beer, shots, tight seating, a great pool table, a jukebox, and a clean atmosphere. They open earlier than most places, making it convenient for takeout orders. It transforms into a lively late-night country bar.

I miss this place it was like home, I hate driving past and seeing the closed sign on the doors

It disappoints me to write this review, but it must be done. I recently visited a tea room with a friend to buy a six pack around midnight on Sunday. We called ahead to confirm they were open and were allowed to enter. Upon arrival, my friend entered first followed by the female bartender and then a man who forcefully shut the door in my face, causing a bruise on my forehead. Despite my attempt to address the issue with the bartender, she denied his involvement. I do not wish to take legal action against the restaurant, but the disrespectful behavior of this man has left me with no choice but to seek medical attention and consult a lawyer. It is unacceptable to handle customers in such a rude and aggressive manner.

It sucked We stopped for a drink and I didnt have my purse with me so I couldnt prove who I was or wtf ever I said Id have a coke and she advised I could not be on the property its a law what a see u next tuesday
