The food was really excellent. The menu was focussed on different ways to cook stock fish and baccalà and it really impressed all of us. The manager was very attentive and informed about the food. I wish the restaurant was more popular as it really deserves a visit.

Unexpected range of recipes, very traditional but also very creative, to let you enjoy what may seem a simple cod, which instead in the Sicilian tradition of the Thyrrenean side is a king. Families have always competed for the best cooking, and grannies and mamies still delight family members with it to maintain traditions alive. We had the tasting menus and they served five dishes each one with a different character, ingredients, revealing a new aspect of the fish. The staff was very kind and be careful when you try the peperoncino as a starter......it opens your breathing, you must try it but do not feel too much prepared for it : . Excellent bread and a good selection of wines. I will be back. Thank you.

After seven days in Sicily, this has been our best meal. A group of 12, we had the degustation. Every meal was exceptional. Ever dish has fish, but it’s perfectly prepared, exceptional Italian flavours. The pasta dishes were outstanding, a real Italian experience. The restaurant is also non-smoking which was refreshing. Lovely Italian interior.

It was a really wonderful dinner. All of the dishes were superb, with the exception of my last cod dish, in which the fish was over cooked and rubbery. But the potatoes in that dish were perhaps the best I have ever tasted. Amazing appetizers and delicious pasta dishes. It is not a large menu, but the cooking was very, very good. I guess my attitude was affected by the ending, when it was clear that they wanted to receive payment in a way that was untraceable by the government. It’s just sad.
