Victory Inn - Mid Sussex

Discovered almost by accident but so glad we found it! Squeezed us in for Sunday lunch, a vegetable curry for one of us and fish and chips for me. Clearly home cooked, good portions and sensible prices. Cosy fire to sit near, and nice view from the outside seating. Welcoming and efficient service. Was very busy but didn’t feel packed, easy to park.

It was such a delight to visit a traditional country pub with a warm welcome from Sophie and Nikki (the dream team) and a cozy fire from the well-maintained log burner. Unfortunately, the Guinness wasn't available so we tried the ale instead, which paired perfectly with our delicious tapas lunch.

Hadn't been here for a while and quality and service were as I remembered. Best to book as it continues to be a popular place to eat. Note not open Monday-Wednesday. Came with friends from abroad who had to get to Gatwick and this pub is perfectly located for the 15 minute journey (not on the flight path! Great location in pretty village. Plenty of parking

Here with two friends. Harvey’s was excellent, staff were really helpful, food was amazing fish ‘n’ chips, pie and a brilliant value 5oz bavette. Tough to fault. Small tip, eating in the bar area much more fun than the dining room.

This is a really great traditional pub. Always a warm welcome from very friendly landlady and her staff. We visit as often as we can and would recommend it without hesitation. We’ll kept beers and a good menu which changes through the year. Meals are always tasty, hot and served with a smile. Very dog friendly, nice clean bowls of water always available
