The Nutmeg Tree - Lewes

This restaurant is a delightful hidden gem with delicious food, excellent service, and a wide selection of cakes. I will definitely return, especially since there is free parking nearby.

Has changed a good friend to the bike today with the woman. typical, the sky opened us. to the happiness goes our planned route over the nutmeg tree, so that we have let ourselves warm up with a beautiful teapot near the wood stove. good tee turned into breakfast with a delightful smoked salmon with cunning egg on toast followed by a beautiful disc of bakewell tart while our cycling shoes, socks, gloves sacking from the fire dried rather freky from us, but the staff never said a word were so nice about it. they were here before when the weather was better outside in the small garden that conquered the sun. what the bikes leave during the shops, they have a handy small courtyard hidden from the road that allows us cyclists to relax instead of rushing each minute to check on their estimated property. in any case, but hopefully not as wet as today.
