Sofia Design District - Miami Beach

We were seated promptly, and I have to say that if my date's food had been served hot instead of cold, I would have given this restaurant four stars. Unfortunately, she had to wait for a new order, which I believe should have been complimentary, but there was no manager available to address the situation. The food was tasty, the service was attentive, and the martinis were outstanding.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the service doesn't warrant a 20% tip. They definitely need to improve in that area.

My new favourite in south beach. Food service and atmosphere outstanding

The pasta is excellent. We have been there a few times. The reason I gave the food value a fair star is because we ordered the seafood tower for 2 at $140. The menu said it has stone crab, oysters, and etc. When the plate came, it had 6 oysters, 4 shrimps, a few pieces of tuna and a few pieces of lobster. We asked the server where is the stone crab, he said we are out of stock. If we were told upfront, we will not order it. We felt uncomfortable with this situation however we remained happy and polite. Because of that reason, we will go not go back to Sofia.
