However, upon arriving at the restaurant and being seated, we were informed that only the buffet was available that night and there was no à la carte menu. If we had known this beforehand, we would not have made a reservation. Our reservation was for 8:30pm, but by that time the food on the buffet was cold and stale. Having to constantly get up and serve ourselves was not how we envisioned our Thanksgiving dinner. Additionally, the options on the buffet were limited, possibly because the restaurant was closing at 9:30pm. The $125 per person charge for this experience was certainly not worth it. Our server was friendly and attentive, but overall our family Thanksgiving dinner was not what we had expected, especially with the high bill. This disappointment could have been avoided if the restaurant had clearly communicated that only the buffet was available on Thanksgiving night and standard seating was not an option through OpenTable.
The food was delicious and the service was great. we wish it had been a bit higher than we were looking forward to something that complicated the chic bar in the upper floor. it was our last meal in the opposite and hoped to meet a very special environment. I would recommend, but say that the $125 storno fee seems hard as this place is directly at the pool and the restaurant was not very crowded. I have almost made no reservation on this principle alone, but I was looking for another place to eat outside surfide and the bal harbour mall, which was also too foot from our hotel.
The restaurant is stunning both during the day and at night. The tabletops give it a certain je ne sais quoi.
We have stayed on Regis Street several times and always dined at Atlantikos. This was our first visit since the beginning of the pandemic. The pros remained the same - excellent food and very nice service. However, we were disappointed to find a couple of cons. Firstly, the menu had been significantly reduced, though the dishes we did try were excellent. The ambiance felt more like a hotel coffee shop. During our meal, loud country music started playing, despite it being quiet initially. We asked multiple times for the volume to be lowered, with little success. On a positive note, as it was my birthday, they kindly brought out a beautifully made dessert for free. We will unfortunately have to reconsider dining here in the future. The breakfast, however, remains delightful.
Excellent Octopus, very tasty hummus and great overall food and service
