Contribuiți la feedbackWe were here last weekend with my college buddies. We got a private room which was nice but the music in the background was very 60's (not really sure what decade but it was really old grandpa music) it didn't really match the whole chinese vibe of the place. We had what looked like dimsum but was actually soup inside, spareribs which was really good, brocolli dish (forgot the name), sweet and sour fish and yang chao rice. The waiter was really friendly. Overall the food was average but expensive. I don't think I would come back.
I held a recent dinner for friends at this restaurant in a private room.It was a set menu although I had altered a few items. My initiative did not improve the food quality. We were only a small group but the service was very patchy. The food stuck in my craw, but not favourably in my memory! It was expensive for what we received. Some of the food was tepid by the time we received it, which to me is completely unacceptable. It indicates that the kitchen is leaving food lying around without any sense of urgency to get it to the diners.
I was here on a Saturday night for a function. The restaurant's air conditioning was inconsistent: one minute it was cooling the room; the next it turned off and soon the room became warmish again. Some of the food was pleasant, particularly the mango sago served for dessert which I could easily have consumed three times the quantity in offer. In contrast, the rice was served tepid while the steamed lapu-lapu was far from the nicest that I have had in Philippines. The waiter's English was also poor which did not help.Toilets were clean but ran out of toilet paper without being quickly replenished. While not the restaurant's fault, there we quite a fee young chikdren running around which cates a safety issue for them, other patrons and staff. The manager should politely ask parents to control their children.
Terrible food, Terrible Service, Terrible Place like the title suggests,Went to Kirin Chinese Dining, with my wife, kid (2 month old) & mum today, but the experience was nothing short of disastrous. Requested for a sofa table, but was given non-baby friendly chair table right in the middle of the restaurant. While that was the beginning of the disaster, the next thing to follow was loads of flies all over - can't imagine that an expensive place like that serves complimentary flies.Mr. Choy (i think the owner), walks up to the table, due to lack on any other waiter / captian coming over to take the order. Simple request for 2 non-vegetarians and 1 vegetarian:a. a curry chicken - he suggested (rather forced) Spicy Hot Chili Chicken Szechuan Style, again a Diaster, no curry whatsoever, completely dry and spicy to make you bleed. But it doesn't end here, the worst of all was when this rather forced on us dish was bought to the table, it had 100 pieces of dried / fried chilies, but hardly any chicken - whatever, chicken was in the dish was only bones or fried skin really speaking. - 300+ pesos for this chilli basketb. a fried rice - I wanted to get the chicken and salted fish fried rice, but this indiviual forced us down with the eggwhite fried rice, saying this has all We would like to eat - but nothing more than a jokec. a vegetarian noodles - All we wanted was simple noodles with vegetables, arrives my order Lo Han Chai Fried Noodles, which had fried noodles which were not even soaked well in the juice of the vegetablesd. crispy vegetarian spring rolls - while this was our choice, it was dripping with oil and had a weird smellTo add to all of the terrible food & terrible place, was the terrible service and un-friendly attitude of the staff, was icing on the cake.Finishing touches - While we were gulping the food, walks to the table Mr. Choy, asking how we liked the food, upon telling him, how the food, service and place has been and how are evening was a disaster, he doesn't show any courtesy nor does he offer of give us a replacement for any of the items ordered. PatheticMy suggestion to anyone looking for chinese in manila, would be to eat at Happ chann, mann thann but dont make the mistake of visiting Kirin Chinese Dining
My Mom and sister took of us to Kirin which is the only Chinese Restaurant in the area. The restaurant was nicely decorated to match the ambiance of the high end Bonifacio High Street clientele. They serve Hong Kong Cantonese style. We dined in on a weekday which was a none busy time. The food was excellent including the dimsum.
