Fireside - Methuen

I was not impressed with this restaurant. It was expensive. I asked about the French onion soup and was told it came in a crock, but it was incredibly small for the price of $8. The portion was much smaller than expected and not worth the cost.

Exceeded expectations! I was staying at a Days Inn and decided to try a nearby restaurant for dinner. The Outback and Fireside were the closest options, but I opted for the local place instead of a national chain. I'm so glad I did! I had the haddock florentine daily special for my main course and strawberry shortcake for dessert, both of which were delicious. I wish I had taken photos before finishing them because they were that good. The waiter, Kevin, who was listed on my very reasonable bill, was the best I have had since before the pandemic. He was not only attentive to me but also seemed to cover more ground than all 3 waiters I've seen in other restaurants. Great job, Kevin!

I recently ordered trays of Fireside’s delicious steak tips, grilled chicken and salads for my 50th party. I can’t say enough how great of an experience it was! Everyone raved how great the food was, and the meats were all warm and tender. Derek went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend to everyone!!

Great personal, really good eating. my family and I love this place. it is the place to have really good comfort food. to be appropriate. we never starve.
