La Strada - Merrick County

This was my first time eating at La Strada and won’t be my last! Loved everything about it, particularly the food. Best rigatoni carbonara on the planet! Caesar salad and tartufo were outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Will be back with more friends!

Overall food and service is good. However, one of the servers bumped into our table and spilled wine over my girlfriend’s dress…

Here on vacation and stopped by due to the great reviews. Started off with some soups. The chicken noodle was a little different but not bad. The pasta fagioli was perhaps the worst soup I’ve ever tasted. Our entree were good, not great, but worth the price paid and good portions. Our server Gianna was adequate but didn’t give me the warm and hospitable vibes if expect from a restart like this. No “thanks for coming” or anything of the sort on our way out. Maybe it was an off night, but I certainly won’t be returning when back in the area in a few weeks.

POOR!Disappointing culinary experience.Service and atmosphere were very nice but lackluster dinner. The lobster ravioli had hints of perfume or febreeze, gross. The pasta Alfredo tasted exclusively of milk, almost like they missed a few ingredients. And the pasta… I understand Al dente but this pasta was essentially out of the box it was so tough. Only redeeming plate was the eggplant parmesan. Out of 4 dishes, 1/2 were edible.Sad dinner outing

As always, an enjoyable meal in a classic Trattoria setting with excellent food, excellent service, and a truly amazing value for my money.Homemade everything from the Pizza oven feet away from my table to savory dishes sautéed to perfection to the dessert items that end your experience on a sweet note.Thanks to La Strada for giving my family their restaurant family's distinctive touch.
