Le Cafe Gourmand - MERMAID BEACH

My husband and I had a delightful breakfast at this spot, enjoying a fantastic cup of coffee. The food was served promptly, and it was delicious and beautifully presented. We were especially impressed with the baguette—it had a thick, crusty exterior and a chewy interior. It’s no surprise that this place is so popular!

I haven't visited the café yet, but I used to live in the house over 40 years ago. It's wonderful to see that it's still standing and being used so well. Wishing you all the best for continued success!

I came across this restaurant located on the street and decided to give it a try for breakfast. The atmosphere was calming, and the staff was very friendly. The croissant was excellent, and I also decided to sample the millefeuille cake out of curiosity—it was delicious!

Food was great, coffee was great, staff are lovely pretty hard to beat : and they can make a proper long black which is always a good sign!

The best baguettes and croissants on the Gold Coast. Seriously. Simple and tasty food. Friendly service. Hard to get a pram up the steps but worth the haul!
