Avanti Italian Lounge - Meriden

As always exceptional food and service. At the first dinner we sat at the bar and it was pleasant. Great to sit good people who also enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Pumpkin Martini was one of the best I had! Shelby never makes a great cocktail! My husband loved the homemade chocolate mousses. We just wanted to go by for a drink and appetizer and stayed for a few hours. We are not bar people, but we felt so comfortable that we stayed and we did not go without ordering a few of their amazing stiff breads for a party for the next day. We had so much food for what we paid, the value is incredible. We moved 45 minutes away and drive here for date night is always worth the ride.

The food is great and the service is excellent. Prices are low to medium, if you like Italian food, this is the place to go.

The 60. My father's birthday party was there yesterday and we all had such a great time!! Thanks to all staff, especially Susan and Deb- the service was excellent and the food was amazing!!!! You all made it so special, thank you!!!
