Contribuiți la feedbackThe employees were nice and engaged, the place was clean, and it looks really nice. However, I cannot believe people eat this and pay real money for it. There is nothing special about it. It's cafeteria chicken and french fries. Based on the popularity, I thought there was something to it. Awful food and not great sauce.
I went to Raising Cane's last week mostly because I work at Purdue and choices for chicken are limited on campus but I have been there before and one of the least expensive things on the menu was 3 tenders meal as in the meal section but extras included tenders for under $2 a piece, I don't really care for their fries and texas toast and I don't care for fountain coke so I just ordered three tenders, on the extras menu was Raising Cane sauce for 39 cents per portion and portions were about the size of papa johns dipping sauces so paying 39 cents for extra sauce seems extreme but when I ordered the three tenders I thought I better ask if they come with cane sauce and the answer is no, so I had to purchase Cane sauce just to have something to dip the tenders in which is ridiculous, on top of that I did try the tender without dipping sauce and there was nothing special about the breading or chicken that made it different from any other tender out there, the chicken isn't there signature the Cane sauce is and the Cane sauce isn't that memorable especially for 39 cents a pop
The food was freshly prepared right in front of me, and it was fantastic—hot and delicious! The young lady at the front was incredibly kind, and I really appreciated her friendliness. I was feeling tired and hungry, and her cheerful attitude truly made my day!
I usually order the chicken fingers on their own because I don't want fries, bread, or a drink. My main issue with Raising Cane's, and with their concept in general, is that if you purchase one or twenty chicken fingers, you should receive at least one cup of Cane's Sauce for free. Instead, you have to pay for each cup of sauce. The chicken fingers are just average without any dipping sauce, so I hope the management considers this feedback and addresses my concerns.
I haven't enjoyed sweet tea this delicious since I left the South, but the fried chicken was excessively salty. I won't be returning.
