Katana Sushi Ramen - West Lafayette

Very disappointing. It 's been over a year since we ordered takeout from Katana but yesterday 's offering was horrible. And usually I don 't provide bad reviews. But the sushi rolls were mushy with too much sauce to cover up the poor quality shrimp and other components. The "specialty ' roll was clearly not worth a premium price of $15; likewise for $14 you get veggie ramen soup with LOTS of ramen noodles/broth and 6 or 7 pieces of veggies. WhooHoo! Recommend we all expect more from Lafayette restaurants.

Delicious! I was nervous when a family member chose this place for an early dinner since I don’t eat seafood and am allergic to shellfish, however, I had the beef hibachi and it was amazing! We also had the spicy edamame which were fire and my mother-in-law said the crab Rangoon were delicious as well. Definitely recommend. The menu is huge and I think anyone could find something to enjoy!

Very good experiences here. The sushi is wonderful. Fried rolls are nice and crispy, eel sauce is scrumdiddlyumpcious to say the least, I would recommend anything with eel in it. Miso tofu soup is great, I could slurp it for eternity. I had the Black Dragon Roll most recently: very, very good. Thank you, Katana!

We come to Katana quite often for their sushi and ramen. We haven't had a bad experience in the 2+ years of attending, and the food quality is very consistent. We've taken many friends and family here, all of them enjoyed it and wanted to return.Vegetarian options: Some great vegetarian Sushi on the menu.Parking: Lots of parking as it shares a lot with a grocery store.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of naturally gluten-free Sushi options. If you have any sort of seafood allergy this isn't the place for you.

Been going here for a while and the sushi is usually good. The past two times the place has gone down hill. The food was bad and the service was worse. The tempura veggies were not cooked with raw batter coming out. The chicken was over cooked and dry. The frozen veggies weren't drained of water so they were just sitting in water. The server was argumentative and didnt ask us what we wanted. The manager was conveniently gone the whole time. Will not go back.
