Kwik Chek - Memphis

It's tough to resist having lunch at Kwik Chek. The kimchi burrito, mandu, and sandwiches like the Ninja and Falafel are all fantastic. I often find myself craving one or even all of them! They also offer bi bim bop and gyros! The staff and owners are always friendly, making it one of the highlights of Midtown and Memphis for sure!

This restaurant consistently serves the best food in the city. You can't make a wrong choice with their diverse menu. For years, my go-to dish was the Hey Zeus, but a couple of years ago, I discovered my love for the Bi Bim Bop. Today, I tried the Kim Chi chicken burrito, and it did not disappoint. Be adventurous and try something new at this gem in Memphis!

I've sampled muffulettas at several spots around town, but my all-time favorite is from this place! I find myself constantly craving the spicy muffuletta. I will mention that the one time I ordered the ninja, it had way too much sauce, and by the time I got home, the bread was soggy and leaking. However, that won't deter me from coming back. Next time, I'll just request less sauce.

Takes 5 7 minutes to acknowledge customer. Poor customer service. The employees will literally look at you and give very little acknowledgement. Often times I can see the food is already prepared and packaged to go but I will have to stand there and keep waiting until someone feels ready to acknowledge me while my food continues becoming less fresh, also I recommend getting a heat box, very unsanitary to stick peoples food on top of dusty greasy ovens to keep warm.

I ordered a steak sandwich today. I think they forgot me since after about 20 min I was the only person standing around without my order. People who came in after me had their food. A gentleman asked what I ordered and said it would be 10 minutes. Sadly I did not have enough time to wait. I was offered a credit but no one took my info. I will update the review if I go back and actually get to try the food.
