Brother Juniper's - Memphis

Somehow Brother Juniper's has lost its rustic appeal from several years ago, in many small ways. The food is ordinary. I don't taste the biscuits that once made me look forward to traveling a thousand miles. The biscuit is served with commercial jelly instead of a sample of Brother Juniper's own preserves (which would motivate one to purchase a jar to take home). The omelets, grits and coffee are thoroughly mediocre. The charming sign that used to hang outside, veryhelpful in locating the establishment, is gone. The only remaining vestiges of the breakfast we used to love are friendly service and coffee served in random non-matching mugs.

This breakfast was so good. ask them to hold the jalapeño if they don't like it. *please note.* the veggie sausage uses a binding agent so they are not vegan. updated by previous review on 2022-01-15

Limited vegan options, but the ones they have are from this world: huge bowl of heel flakes with blueberries, avocado toast tofu scrambles. my favorite is the spicy tofu scramble. unbelievable if they can treat the heat. unfortunately no pictures, we couldn't wait to dig!

Four different types of tofu scramble to choose, including one that has vegan sausage. I had the spicy scramble that was excellent. coffee is also good.

Not many vegan options, but the personal is friendly and the mood is beautiful. I would come back if I was back in memphis
