I was intrigued by Shopmen's claim of a fusion of Asian, European and Indian food. My partner and I were not disappointed. The food, presentation and service were all outstanding. The chefs have put a lot of thought into the menu with superb results. Looking forward to returning very soon. Top marks!

This was my second visit to Shompen. The first visit was great and it was with a little trepidation that this time I invited two good friends who are very discerning “foodies”. Fortunately this visit was even better than the first. The gustation menu is both enticing and exquisite in variety and taste. There is just the right amount of experimentation without going overboard. We were extremely well looked after by our server Nafisa who provided detailed information on the courses in a warm and pleasant manner. We left all in agreement that Shompen is an undiscovered jewel in Melbourne’s cuisine.
