Kaaoli - Melbourne

I have only tried their sushi the two times I have visited this restaurant, and the teriyaki salmon is absolutely amazing. It is flavorful, slightly crispy, and served with good brown rice. I do wish they offered Kewpie mayo for takeout like some other places, but overall it is fantastic. The service is quick and the restaurant seems to be quite popular based on my visits.

This charming sushi bar on Chapel St is a must-visit. Their donburi bowls offer great value for money and keep me coming back for more. A quick visit is definitely worth it!

Good quality, Japanese style, 'Sushi cafe '/take away that is quick, clean and inexpensive. The hand rolls are fresh and their Miso soup is a great hunger filler if you 've got $2.50 and no time to spare!

My new fave place for sushi (wish I had found it years ago! . Hand rolls are fresh, healthy and delicious. There is a good selection of brown rice rolls and the wasabi and pickled ginger are much more 'real ' than you find elsewhere; they don 't seem to be artificially dyed as is the norm for other sushi places. Haven 't tried anything else here yet but do plan to. Highly recommend if you prefer healthy options!

Loved it!. I have been there many times to get sushi however I decided to get a Seafood Udon and it was possibly the best Asian dish I have ever eaten. I was greeted with a smile and handed a menu and was asked if I wanted to sit down. Loved that.They took my order and used all their staff, one to hand me a menu, one to take my order and one to pay at so I wasn't waiting long. Loved that. The food was delivered at a high standard and quick. Loved that. I was constantly asked if it was nice. Loved that. This restaurant cares about their customers and what WE want rather than what's convenient for them. It's not big, but it's comfortable and warm and I would happily return there and recommend it to everyone who wants Asian food. It's also very cheap. I got my dish and a drink for just $14 which is cheap for the standard they have. I loved it.
