Isabella Eatery Arroz - McLean

Open eatery concept OK for casual, too much mall noise for serious dining. Plates overpriced by about 1/3, even if done well.

I didn 't love this one bit. First, no normal soda. Please carry either Coke or Pepsi products even if you want to carry others. It 's what most expect. I wish I 'd been able to write this sooner, but I 'm afraid the only think I remember is the chicken croquettes and how horribly smokey they were. I couldn 't take a second bite. I 'm not sure I 'd go back. In addition, at the height of the dinner hour, the place was practically empty. That should have been a clue. On the other hand, the waiter was nice and made a nice presentation for my husband 's birthday.

I love it, on this side of Isabella Eatery last night we sat on the golden chairs (before I sit on the stands that I LOVE). Magnificent and comfortable! The food was good, but since I only got a burger, it was okay, but not necessarily everything to write home. More importantly, however, it was that my friend could first dinate in Isabella Eatery, and she seemed to enjoy this new addition to Galleria! Above I clicked that this restaurant is good for starters and desserts, as Cirque du Soleil 's LUZIA is currently touring the block and walking distance.

We had tried out the individual food concepts and individually they are great. We had made a reservation for Arroz that no longer exists. Isabella Eatery contacted us when confirming our reservation and told us that Arroz BUT had switched off, we were able to get many of the selections that were at Arroz in the general dining area where the menu has selected the choices from most of the ice cream concepts at Tysons II. The Arroz selections were very limited and we were very disappointed. I guess most are a relative term when they describe the choice. Food was good and so was the service. We found that you can also order from Graffiato (Italian), but you need to know to ask. We did not find that this was an option until half through our meal. We think the general aggregated dining room concept needs work, including always real-time feedback from the males, so they better choose the choices to present from the individual themes eating. Prices were incompatible between the elections and often served high for food in our opinion.

The food was interesting and delicious. A dessert disappointment turned out to be a dessert gem. When only one of 2 desserts was ordered, the server decided to get some ice from the cream. The vanilla ice cream was the most delicious that everyone from the party of 5 ever had.
