Riverside Chocolate Factory - McHenry

Our first visit here was so much fun! They were somewhat busy, but still excellent service provided! All the ice cream staff were super friendly and helpful. The chocolate dipped waffles are delicious! We sat outside at the tables and enjoyed our first visit! This place is amazing!

Everyone was helpful and friendly. brought back memories of candy when we were small! Ice is very good.. we have waffle bowls with Fat Elvis, this was serious, and door county cherry.. sooo good! A.must Stop ..lil expensive, but worth it! Love the painting on the side of the building!

Talk about a small place with a big heart! This place has everything! It looks so small, but inside it hits more than the eye. Fresh homemade chocolate in dark and milk varieties, ice selection to die for, old fashion candies, chocolate dipped fruits and so much more. The service is fast, friendly and makes excellent recommendations! You really know their chocolate. Many of their old chocolates are half price so they are fun to try something new without breaking the bank. We're coming back!

What a great little place for everything that brings chocolate or ice cream. It's worth the long lines. The staff is always friendly. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is that I find it small that they charge customers for a cup of water after spending on a cone which could buy a gallon ice in the grocery store. Great place for an evening with family and friends, and a classic convertible!

Higher end chocolate store. More like something that you would see if you were on vacation. The chocolate and fudge we bought was very good and will buy again. My wife tried and purchased a couple pieces of chocolate covered bacon that she really liked.
