Panda Express - McHenry

Fresh every time. Sometimes they add onions to the chow mein for some reason but any other time they don't add it in. The onion makes it taste way too overpowered like onion is all I taste which kind of ruins it. That's only happened a couple times tho. Everything else is so good and perfect tho.

My family had lunch in the December and all was perfect and delicious. We had a great meal. However, I bought the family meal yesterday and it wasn’t tasty, there was too much vinegar in the orange chicken and rice was undercooked. My kids haven’t eaten anything and I had to prepare something. My husband and I have eaten all plates of chicken and then we had stomachache.I think the restaurant has a new cook. I hope the quality will be better.

I stood at the counter by myself no one inside no line like 2 people in the drive thru. It took these kids 5mins to say someone will be right with you 5 mins later they finally asked what I wanted just to tell me that it will be another 7 mins I waited 10 mins more before I walked out . These parents of these kids should be embarrassed. Raising lazy children with no people skills.

The food is good enough, 3/5, you get what you pay for, an american take on Chinese cuisine. But the disappointing part was when wrong food order was mixed up. The restaurant was busy and slow service with rushed interactions was expected for a restaurant at this level, but the interaction with the manager was the most bizarre.The manager was extremely rude and defensive, beyond incompetent as were the rest of the staff. It was clear they did not care to lose us as customers over a few drinks that tasted like nothing due to broken soda machine and a couple wronged meals even tho people had allergies and Marlin the so called manager there agreed to fix the problem “next time” only to deny ever saying that … what a joke!There are other chinese restaurants in that area that may be worth trying before this one. It is not worth wasting your money especially nowadays over incompetent amateur employees so called “management “ that have 0 qualifications in management and customer service!I’d stay away unless you like paying for bad food and bad disrespectful racist management!
