Bimbo's was our favorite go to Italian restaurant in the area, but no longer after the horrible experience we had during our last visit there to celebrate our 48 wedding anniversary. The downward spiral started right after we were seated at a table next to the window overlooking the outside deck dining area. The view was okay, however my wife felt a strong vibration coming from underneath her chair mine was okay. The vibration ran constantly for about 10 minutes, then stop for 3 4 minutes and repeat the cycle again and again. When we complained to the waiter and hostess, she explained that the vibration was from a compressor located in basement just below my wife's chair. The place was completely packed and it explains why a desirable window table was still available. She offered another table, but it was in the pinball gaming room! It was getting late so we decided to stay. I ordered a medium rare steak, and it was very overcooked being slightly pink. I complained to the manager, but that is another story. Thank goodness for our absolutely wonderful young waiter he turned what could easily have been an otherwise dreadful evening into a terrific one.
