Rajas Con Crema - Maywood

Rajas con Crema is a gem in Maywood. It?s the cutest cozy restaurant. For the past few years I?ve come here often for lunch and never once was disappointed by the quality of food or service. The food is delicious, and they have daily lunch specials. Theyalso have the best margaritas in all of LA, my favorites are the tamarind and mango margaritas, fresh delicious. The best partof coming here is supporting a great small family owned business.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The exterior doesn't give any hint of the beautiful and delicious experience inside. You'd never guess how charming and tasty this place is. It's family-owned and operated, and I've introduced it to locals who had no idea it was there. Some even told me there was no restaurant next to Ace Hardware! They serve alcohol, have happy hour specials, and offer homemade agua de frutas, sometimes featuring different fruits too. I've enjoyed many delightful dishes, but just yesterday, we tried the Carne en su Jugo, and we both were enamored with it. Plus, the Plátanos con Crema dessert is, without a doubt, my favorite anywhere I've had them before. Whenever I'm in the area, this is my go-to lunch spot, especially when I'm taking a client. The pictures I'm sharing are from my first visit, where I tried the Rajas con Crema, and yes, they totally live up to the hype. I feel a bit bad for all the other restaurants nearby that I've neglected, but I can't help it!

Wow! The authentic homemade food here is incredible. This place was absolutely fantastic—the flavors are bold, and the staff is wonderful. We were celebrating my dad's 70th birthday, and my son was too excited to let us eat, but the staff kindly took him to see the kitchen, which helped distract him. It's truly a hidden gem! As someone from Mexico, being here brought back fond memories of my grandma's cooking.

The location is not ideal for the type of luxury and great atmosphere you feel here. It is very simple yet romantic/sophisticated looking restaurant. The real roses ???? ???? of each table truly makes the feel of intimacy undeniable.The food menu is Mexican Italian food items. I thought that one flavor of the foods would lose it taste to better the other asmost typical restaurants do, yet bothe the Mexican dishes and the Italian cuisine are spectacular! A total must!!!

Rajas Con Crema is an exquisite and refined restaurant that offers remarkable cuisine along with exceptional service and hospitality. The interior of the restaurant is truly stunning and fulfills the owner's vision of creating a dining experience so exceptional that guests momentarily forget they are in a small corner of Los Angeles. The food and drinks are fantastic, with the Sangria and Penne Pasta with sun-dried tomatoes highly recommended. Overall, I had a 5/5 experience and will not hesitate to return.
