Peninsula Tea Gardens - Maylands

I booked a table in advance, armed and for tee and a piece of cake. the cakes that were made available to us were stoney and the scones were hard these were served on plastic plates and disposable forks the tea was served in take-out tassen, even if we were a party in eating! felt there was sincerely an element of discrimination that everyone else was given in the house with the right crooked cutlery served. Save yourself and don't go there.

Delicious scenarien and tee, comparable to high tee in some of the best hotels in london. very cheap, only $10 for tee and scones. with unbelievable insight and friendly staff that went out of the way to make my small child comfortable. highly recommended.

I am three times friends and my family here, nothing but great, beautiful place to enjoy the lazy afternoons, just needed a cup of coffee and serve their best scene.

Have to say this place is the best one for me to relax, the best scone I have never taste before. Friendly staff, worm service, great loction and nice food! Strongly recommend!

A thoroughly disappointing 'High Tea '. We arrived and went to the front desk as we already had a booking. I was standing there for 10 mins and was blatantly ignored by staff members going in and out of the kitchen.I then proceeded to ask one of the staff members if anyone was serving the response I get was oh very busy . We were finally seated and given our high tea. It consisted of a party pie each, sandwiches cut into quarters, one scone and a few petite fours and a cupcake which was definitely a cake mix.
