Texas Chicken - Maungakiekie-Tamaki

This chicken restaurant surpasses many of its competitors. I really enjoyed the biscuit; it's a bit buttery, but quite delightful. I also tried the Mexican burger, which wasn't very spicy but had a nice little kick. It’s not a place I'd visit every day, but it's a great option for an occasional treat.

I really enjoy KFC, and I believe Texas takes it to another level. It’s by far the best option in the food court. The chicken pieces are huge, making for a hearty and satisfying meal. Although I don't visit Manukau Westfield frequently, Texas is always at the top of my mind when I do. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5

I often find myself thinking about Texas Chicken. Unfortunately, I rarely get the chance to satisfy my cravings since all the locations are quite far away. However, I was able to indulge yesterday and ordered 8 chicken wings. They were incredibly crispy and flavorful, not greasy or heavy like KFC. The mashed potatoes with gravy and the chips were also quite enjoyable. I'm a big fan!

I’ve made the trip here from the Shore a number of times since they’ve opened and it is so worth the drive every single time.<br/ <br/ I always go for the 2 piece combo with one original and one spicy piece. This is the most value meal I’ve ever come across, you get 2 large pieces of chicken, medium fries, potato and gravy, honey butter bread and a medium sized drink. <br/ <br/ The chicken is beautiful every time perfectly fried, succulent and flavourful, definitely some of the best chicken I’ve had. I am also a huge fan of their potato and gravy as well as the fries. <br/ <br/ Service is always really fast and efficient. Really hoping that they’ll open up a store in central at least in the future.

This must be the best fried chicken in Auckland. Just wondering why they don't open branch in Auckland central. Hot and spicy fried chicken crispy and delicious！ i love it soooo much
