Saiko - Matina

A restaurant located inside Foodtrip food park in the Sto Nino area of Marikina. My husband and I have been exploring new food parks in Marikina and came across this one. Although the menu seemed appealing, we were let down by the food at this specific restaurant. We ordered the wagyu cubes and found that they did not meet our expectations in terms of taste and texture.

A must-try at SAIKO is the Wagyu Cubes California Bowl, deconstructed Cali Maki, and Tonkatsu Katsudon. Their ramen was decent, but not particularly extraordinary. SAIKO offers delicious Japanese food at a reasonable price for the foodie crowd. It would be nice if the staff, particularly the waitress, smiled a bit more and were more attentive when taking orders. Hehe.
