Tasty Shock - MATERA

Amazing ice cream shop, we went to Matera for the afternoon and the weathers were good so we decided to go here. It’s really delicious and not too expensive for the quality !

For me the worst pistachio ice cream I ever had in Italy. Nice idea, but in my opinion it’s a pimped McDonald’s sundae ice cream. It’s definitely not worth to be named Italian gelato.

Innovative and rare place with the possibility of creating your own ice cream. Small and cozy atmosphere with a wide selection of quality ingredients to make your own ice cream. There are also excellent crepes.

We walked into here while searching for an ice cream place. Not a huge range of flavours but enough. The guy inside was helpful. Pick your own tub or cone and fill as you wish with choice of flavours and toppings and put on scale at end and pay by weight. Our two came to €7.20. I tried the super dark chocolate, mango and the cookie dough. The dark chocolate and mango were amazing, cookie dough quite sweet.
