Nocelleria - MATERA

We were walking on the evening Matera streets when we saw this place, it looked very authentic and it had its own atmosphere. The owner met us and gave a very cosy table, we have offered two panini and a table of cheese and meat. The food was delicious, and the wine that the owner has recommended to taste was really excellent. The wine was perfectly selected by the owner, as it was exactly what we were looking for semi sweet fruit taste. While we were enjoying the wine and good, the owner agreed to charge my phone, which was very nice. The place had its own atmosphere, as there were almost no tourists and some local people sitting near us. I highly recommend this place for having the real Matera experience.

Away from the tourist trap restaurants this simple cafe is to be praised for its availability of tables under shade in a nice square. A simple menu of bread, cheese and antipasti washed down with a great beer was what we needed. Fast, efficient and polite service and spotless facilities. What more could you want for very little expense?

Metto cinque stelle perché non posso mettere di più. Abbiamo provato i panini con i prodotti locali, a dir poco fantastici. Ingredienti buonissimi e di prima scelta!! Abbiamo fatto il bis, nonostante dopo il primo panino fossimo già sazi, per avere la possibilità di assaggiare altri prodotti. Personale gentilissimo!!!! Consigliatissimo
