Waffle House - Mason

My friends and I visited the restaurant at 2 PM, but we were turned away. I could understand if we had been drunk and causing a disturbance, but we’re just a group of college students looking for a tasty breakfast. Instead, we were told to leave as soon as we walked in. I’ve typically regarded Waffle House as a welcoming spot, but this location did not meet my expectations at all. I’ve never experienced such a cold reception at a Waffle House before. I entered hoping for a delicious meal but left feeling empty and frustrated. I won’t be returning to this place, and I sincerely hope the management addresses this issue. Zero out of ten—this is by far the worst Waffle House I’ve ever been to.

The Midnight Layer had two women working on Thursday and Friday nights who were located at the back. They worked quickly and efficiently while maintaining a friendly smile and a positive attitude throughout the night. It was clear they were busy, especially since they closed shortly after the last customers finished.

I experienced very slow service during my visit. Despite there being many staff members—seven servers and two chefs—it took 15 minutes for my coffee to arrive, and 12 minutes before my order was taken. I had requested for my waffle to be held back so that it would be fresh and warm when I was ready to eat, expecting it to take about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, they brought it out just three minutes after my All-Star dish was served, and by then, the waffle was already cold, making the butter melt instead of spread nicely. While the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance, the staff could benefit from talking less and focusing more on listening to their customers.

The food was good and the staff was friendly. I never had a bad meal from the waffle house. they had bluffed and wiped off as it was dirty and they were not busy at that time. I'm back.

WH is always right. Ate Two eggs hashbrown with coffee. Hmmmmmm ma ! Had relaxed time like my hometown.
