Youre missing a treat if you ain't been to the Terrace at Swinton Park Estate. The menu is not large but the food is very tasty. In fact the hotel, spa etc is very special makes a good day out. Call in at Masham beforehand for a coffee, have a walk round the church, visit the gallery behind the coffee shop for superb animal prints. This place does excellent food and has great staff. They don't allow dogs in the restaurant itself but they are welcome on the terrace or in the bar with the restaurant menu. Really enjoyed it here. We went for a light lunch, restaurant was about half full. It took an hour between arrival and being served our food . We had our drinks served only after chasing the waiter. The food was mostly disappointing, not worth the wait nor the expense. The burger was indifferent, sandwiches were served cold, when we expected them to be warm. We will not be going again.
