Crown Inn Spice Indian And Takeaway

Ordered at 17:55 and it's now while writing this review 19:51 and our food still hasn't arrived. Order on the app says it's been delivered but hasn't. No call to update on progress or anything. Worst service I've ever received in all my travels... Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20

Was only able to give 1 star but if i could have given 0 then I would have. Ordered food at 18:00, didn't arrive till 20:15. Food did come in really hot so that gave us some hope and we were more optimistic. But then after tasting the food we were really disappointed. Taste was abysmal, texture was sloppy and after one taste of each meal, we threw it all in the bin and ended up cooking our own dinner. Restaurant wouldn't even refund us some money for food being late. This was the only takeaway we ordered from whilst on holiday here in the Lake District and it has really set the bar low. Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, complete waste of time and money.

The worst curry we have ever had. It went in the bin after we waited 1hr 40 min for delivery. Had to read the description on the lid to know which dish was which. Terrible service, long delivery and terrible food. I only gave it 1 star so I could write a review

Appalling.... Overcharged me three times.... Fourth chance got the wrong order and refused to make it right despite my partner's IBS for overspicy..... Steer well clear

Ordered food at 5pm on a Saturday and 3 hours later it still had t arrived. I eventually drove to the takeaway to find they still haven’t cooked it. A further 30 mins later I received my order and went home. Personal views are just pure greed and cannot say no to the money. We ordered from heat every week but will never return due to this experience
