Grill'd Sunshine Plaza - MAROOCHYDORE

Today, my coworkers and I visited this restaurant and were met with extremely rude behavior. We accidentally brought food from another restaurant for my five-year-old child. Instead of politely offering us to eat elsewhere or order from the menu, we were treated rudely. I'm not sure if it was because of my professional appearance or other reasons, but the quick dismissal was unacceptable. Discriminating against our family based on appearance or any other reason is not tolerable.

There are two grill restaurants in the central part of the Sunshine Coast: one at Sunshine Plaza and one in the Kawana shopping center. The advantage of the Plaza location is that it is situated in the heart of one of the largest shopping centers in Queensland, north of Brisbane. The staff are very friendly, the food is always excellent, and the prices are competitive with other upscale burger restaurants. I particularly enjoy the unique flavor of the burgers at Grill Burgern.

I went to Grill tonight and I was not satisfied. While all the other staff were nice and friendly, the woman with glasses who greeted people was extremely rude. She was blunt and passive-aggressive towards me, making me feel unwelcome. The food was good as usual, though.

Always good in every sight. eating is always fresh, the staff is very attentive and seem to pay attention to their experience.

Ordered a Superfood salad which arrived with so much oil it was inedible the chicken was covered in black burnt material and certainly not worth the price tag. The manager apologised and kindly refunded our money but still confused to why a national company...wouldn’t take more care in their food preparation and presentation. They weren’t even that busy at the time so there really isn’t any excuse.
