Contribuiți la feedbackWe have often visited this resto and never disappointed. The seafood is always excellent and fresh. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Prices are appropriate for food and wine. It is very popular so either book or there dead on 12. We... at lunchtime, but there were only outside the tables for free, fortunately it was very warm and sunny. We'll be back soon.
Really enjoyed our visit to this low key but very friendly restaurant. We had the sole which was absolutely huge and amazingly well cooked. The plate lacked variety and would of really benefited from having some veggies on it rather than just a massive fish...though the fish was superb. Lovely evening.
The staff was great and very polite, the fish was delicious and very fresh (we ordered the “Super Seafood Plate” for 1 and the menu of 25€ for 1 the seafood soup was also amazing). White wine from the island was great and the atmosphere is really nice and the place is very cozy. The only discreet note was the profiterole: For € 8.50 I definitely excluded a “Mrs Cake” that was not. Generally everything was great!!!
We came here with friends we were visiting in Bourcefranc le Chapus. They had told us about the place and we were keen to visit. It was superb. Our friends had the $25 set meal whereas my husband and I having small appetites, went for...just a main course. He had the cod which was the plat du jour and I had sole. He throughly enjoyed his meal and my sole was out of this world. Our friends food was delicious with ample portions. The service was friendly, efficient, yet unobtrusive. A truly lovely place and a wonderful meal. Merci beaucoup.
A popular and lively eatery at Cayenne, so it’s best to book. We were in the main part of the restaurant, which was rather steamy. I started my meal with langoustines, which were plentiful but lacked texture. As a main course, I chose the lobster...(from their tank according to the menu) in a Grand Marnier sauce. The sauce was delicious but the lobster was flabby. The dish was accompanied by greasy crinkle-cut potatoes. My dessert of lemon meringue pie was nothing to write home about. My husband, however, much enjoyed his enormous portion of curried mussels. Prices are modest. For large quantities of food at a very good price, and a good local atmosphere, this is the place to go.
