Villa Maria Estate - Manukau

Beautiful location, friendly service. Waiters were quick to bring food and wine but were slack when in cane to catering for non alcoholic drinks. I went with a group from work and I was just drinking juice, my drink was slow to come out and I was left with an empty glass often. Shared platters (meat/cheese/bread/parfait) were really nice and a beautiful selection. I had eye fillet for main and was average.

The place here must be Auckland's best secret for this special lunch. The meal was most pleasant and Toni our waitress took care of us. I'm glad to go back soon.

Unfortunately, we were not able to have a real lunch show that we had not reserved, but we had a nice tasting experience. Beautiful location, intimate and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We had Isabella for tasting and she was amazing!! We sat outside at the end and later had some tables with more wine. They even brought out small blankets so that guests could stay warm. Great atmosphere, beautiful place. Really enjoyed it!

Great place for a breakfast or lunch with special occasions... The food is great and the service is... But it is even better together with the premium wine tasting... I will go back there

After a 30-hour travel time with the last leg is a 14-hour flight from Los Angeles we rented our car and drove to Villa Maria Estates. Just a short 8-minute drive from the airport, you can reach a heavy industrial area with factories and warehouses until you return to the property, immediately you will be transported to a charming and quiet vineyard with beautiful views. We had an amazing lunch at the café, starting with the warm Turkish bread and then main courses of the grilled grouper with a fresh ornament of vegetables, Scallop Ceviche and Mais Chowder (Check out the pics). The fish was perfectly grilled and the veggies incredibly fresh, the ceviche was refreshing and lit and tropical with citrus and fresh coconut, while the depth of aromas in the chowder were so incredibly fulfilling. We had a wine flight with lunch, followed by a tasting. Our hostess was very knowledgeable about the wine and very accommodating for our special taste. We went out with four bottles... We would highly recommend Villa Maria Estates!
