Our family has come to the island perk coffee shop in manteo for several years and never disappointed. the owners are so welcoming, and the friendly employees always do a good work that serves the customer. They have a great choice of drinks and delicious tasty. the perfect place to stop by when they need a little caffeine “perk” or a cool refreshing limonade or smoothie. this place is a family lover!

I like this place, but I had to give him a star, because nobody was wearing a mask while he was working behind the counter. as a hired person asked if he had to stay apart only 6 meters.

The old brick shop is lovely and sunlit, and my cappuccino was delicious. You can browse for cards or sit down to enjoy your coffee and muffin.

After a morning at the NC Aquarium, the Island Perk Coffee Shop in Manteo was a wonderful stop to fuel up on coffee before taking a walking tour of Manteo. Street parking and lots are located within one-to-two blocks.

I came in and my first question was if smoothies are made with real fruits. Lady said yes. My husband ordered strawberry banana smoothie. You can see this lady making it over the counter. In a cup full of ice she poured a little bit of some bottle syrup and blended it with water. Here we go. Ice, water and sugar in a cup for $6. Ended up throwing it all away. My coffee had only half liquid in it so I asked to pour some more milk. Ridiculous. Two stars coz ladies inside were nice. I was mad that they lied to me tho.. Wouldn’t come back..
